Nearly 1,000 guests filled Pier 26 as Givenchy premiered in the Big Apple (instead of Paris) for the first time ever. Hymns and prayers set the tone of the black-and-white-themed show, which fell on September 11 and graciously honored those lost. Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Julia Roberts were in attendance alongside 820 “real people” who were lucky enough to snag a ticket. New girl? More like Tommy’s girl. Hipster darling Zooey Deschanel has teamed up with designer Tommy Hilfiger to lend some of her “adorkable” charm to a new capsule collection, set to launch this April.


Combining the actress’s love of all things quirky and vintage with the fashion vet’s signature nautical style (to create “Modical,” a term Deschanel herself coined), the collection is comprised of 16 sixties-inspired minidresses, many featuring a classic Americana palette of red, white, and blue.

Flirty, all-American dresses from our favorite girl next door, just in time for the spring season? This, my friends, might just be better than HelloGiggles.
