Blue and black or white and gold? No matter your answer, we can bet that you had at least one heated discussion about #TheDress this week. In honor of all the buzz, we’re taking a look at three dress-focused looks. There’s nothing to debate about these stunners.

Best Dressed

1. Emma Roberts stepped out in the always-classic LBD. But ruffled trim and lace-up heels give her Cynthia Rowley frock a flirty twist.

2. Lily James played the part of a real-life princess in Elie Saab Haute Couture at the Los Angeles premiere of Cinderella. Staying true to her character, she wore crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin heels and carried a Charlotte Olympia Time Piece clutch.

3. Sarah Hyland let her bright pink dress do the talking at The Kindred Foundation for Adoption fundraiser. The hot hue was balanced by a simple and sophisticated silhouette.

While the VMAs kicked off the week with an “anything goes” theme, the Emmys and remaining red carpet events brought a fresh take on more classic looks.

600x400

  1. Selena Gomez was red-hot in a Valentino jumpsuit and Saint Laurent pumps at the Variety and Women in Film Emmy Nominee Celebration.
  2. Emma Stone debuted her new long bob in a plunging Valentino gown at the Venice Film Festival’s Birdman premiere.
  3. Sarah Hyland looked perfectly polished in a Georges Hobeika embellished top and wide-leg pants at the Variety and Women in Film Emmy Nominee Celebration.
