Stop the presses: Bad Gal RiRi has been named creative director of the women’s division at PUMA. The star will not only oversee the direction of its collection, but she’ll also act as a brand ambassador alongside Usain Bolt and Mario Balotelli.

This is hardly Rihanna’s first foray into fashion, as the singer has previously collaborated with brands including MAC, Balmain, and Gucci. PUMA CEO Bjørn Gulden called the decision a natural one, saying, “Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand. . . . We’re delighted to have her as a partner, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come.” Not one to waste any time, Rihanna had her first creative meeting yesterday at the company’s headquarters in Germany.

We love seeing our favorite Barbadian take on fashion, but we plead with one last request: “Please don’t stop the music.”

Slip-on style and a flexible midsole? These sneaks can take on any terrain (even those rocky trails).

Enough traction to chase the kids around. Sturdy support for hitting the pavement. These elastic strap sneakers are easy to put on (or take off) in a snap.

The most kid-friendly sneaker in the game. This lightweight, non-slip pair comes complete with Velcro straps. Plus, the non-marking sole means no scuffs. Period.
