Is life in plastic actually fantastic? Anna Dello Russo seems to think so. Her latest Vogue Japan spread pays homage to Barbie, with a spot-on impersonation from model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

With Rosie dressed in signature pink and stiffly posed, the Anna Dello Russo–styled shoot nails Barbie’s iconic look. Rosie even has the vacant stare and frozen smile down pat – which is pretty comical, if not slightly unsettling. And in case you were wondering, yes, Ken makes an appearance too.

Now, this isn’t the only recent high-fashion venture from the doll. The Moschino Spring 2015 collection brought the look to life, with several pieces showcased in this shoot. I’d sure like to add one of those cheeky purses to my Barbie collection.

If gigantic teddy bears and cartoons are your thing, then you’re in for a treat. Miley Cyrus (well-known for both) and Moschino’s colorful tongue-in-cheek creative director Jeremy Scott have something big up their sleeves for New York Fashion Week.

At Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, Jeremy announced, “Miley and I have something very exciting we’re brewing up for the future.” He was tight-lipped about details, but revealed that the show will feature “a group of cool kids” instead of models.

No word yet on what they’re plotting, but I have some ideas. Miley had a homeless teen, Jesse Helt, accept her Moonman on her behalf to raise awareness for the issue. Could those be the cool kids Jeremy’s talking about? Will it involve another group of performers? Perhaps his show will use Miley’s Bangerz as a soundtrack? Only time will tell. Until then, the duo will have everyone (including the front row) on the edge of their seats.

Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott has already conquered the womenswear world, so now he’s off to tackle menswear. On June 16, Scott will debut Moschino’s first-ever men’s collection in London, England. Location specifics have yet to be determined, but one thing’s for certain: the collection is sure to wow.

After being named the new creative director back in October 2013, he’s already helped strengthen the brand with his well-received Fall 2014 women’s line. So much so, in fact, that Marcello Tassinari (managing director and CFO of Aeffe SpA, Moschino’s parent company) told WWD  that in just a few short months, the brand is already “showing a growth above average.” Way to go, Scott.

So, is it June 16 yet?

Nowadays, no pop princess goes on tour without a high-fashion wardrobe. Lady Gaga wore costumes by Versace; Rihanna rocked Givenchy; Queen Bey performed in Emilio Pucci; and now, an all-star roster of designers is outfitting Katy Perry for her Prismatic World Tour.
