Grumpy Cat Visits Vogue (and We’re Jealous)

The Internet’s sulkiest sensation went high-fashion yesterday with a trip to the New York Vogue offices. According to Fashionista, the well-traveled cat first met the magazine’s team in Austin at SXSW, where they really hit it off. So much so, in fact, that Vogue invited her to visit as a birthday treat (who needs Friskies?). After the tour, a yet-to-be-revealed birthday surprise, and a quick cuddle with Grace Coddington, Grumpy Cat headed home. Best birthday ever? I’d say so – even if she doesn’t.

Wake Up and Smell the… Pharrell

Pharrell Williams’s Arby’s-inspired hat is about to be old news. The “Get Lucky” singer has moved on from toppers and onto scents, collaborating with adored Japanese fragrance label Commes des Garçons to create his very own perfume.

Label sound familiar? That’s probably because he’s been name-dropping it in a few of his latest songs. But while you can hear those catchy tunes now, you won’t get a whiff of the new scent until next fall. Until then, feel free to scour Goodwill for discarded Arby’s hats.

Girl Power: Record Number of Women on Forbes’s Billionaire List

Move over, guys. Women are taking over the billionaire’s club. According to The Guardian, Forbes’s annual list includes more women than ever – 172, to be exact, which is a 25% increase from last year.

Hear that? That’s yet another glass ceiling shattering (and it’s music to my ears).

Jessica Lange Gives Good Face… for Marc Jacobs Beauty

Move over, Miley Cyrus. Jessica Lange is about to steal your thunder. That’s right – after providing the spoken-word soundtrack at Marc Jacobs’s fall runway show, the 64-year-old actress has been announced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. And much like her work on American Horror Story, the stunner’s first ad is absolutely bewitching.

Between this and NARS announcing 68-year-old Charlotte Rampling as the face of its label, it’s official: mature models are having a moment.
