Your typical Instagram feed of puppies, food, and sunsets? Well, that was then. This is now. On Friday, November 1, “Michael Kors revealed the social media platform’s very first ad,” says the Telegraph. The caption? “5:15 PM: Pampered in Paris #MKTimeless.” The photo showcased a rectangular-faced gold watch and a plate of pretty macarons, which now has well over 200K likes.
And we can expect a lot more where that came from. Burberry is already rumored to be the next brand to launch an Insta-ad in the coming weeks. Watch those feeds – you just may see a sponsored post worth double-tapping.
