NYC’s Midtown inhabitants have been buzzing all week. Why? Their newest neighbors are Mary-Kate Olsen and fiancé Olivier Sarkozy. The engaged lovebirds scooped up an MTV Cribs–worthy townhouse in the Turtle Bay development for a cool 13.5 million dollars from painter David Deutsch. And, according to the pictures featured on Curbed, the inside is just as jaw-dropping as you’d expect. It boasts a private garden, hall of mirrors (inspired by Versailles), rooftop pool, and ballroom.

Could the pint-sized fashionista’s new digs turn Turtle Bay into the new West Village? Possibly. All I know is I need to get on their housewarming invite list, stat.

Trending in 2014? Engagements. We’re only a week into March, and there are already too many aisle-bound starlets to count.

1. Forget Full HouseMary-Kate Olsen is all grown up – and we can’t wait to see what the boho princess brings to the alter (aside from Ashley as the MOH).

2. Marnie may be a mess on this season of Girls, but we have a feeling Allison Williams will be the picture of perfection come her big day.

3. Christina Aguilera is a style chameleon (“Dirrty,” anyone?). So, the only thing we can confidently predict about her big day is that it will be totally over the top.

4. With Ashton Kutcher as the groom, there’s no way Mila Kunis's wedding won’t be a blast.

5. We can’t wait to stalk Us Weekly for photos from Emma Roberts and Evan Peters’s ceremony – even if it is just to see what Aunt Julia is wearing.

Can’t get enough Pinterest inspiration? Check out past boards that caught our eye.

There’s been a bit of a shake-up over at the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), and former Full House cast member Michelle Tanner – err, Ashley Olsen – now officially has a seat on the board. Her leadership at The Row and Elizabeth and James clearly shows that she’s serious about fashion, but with this new appointment, she’s earned validation that the rest of the fashion world is serious about her, too. (That CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award she and her sister Mary-Kate took home last year doesn’t hurt, either.)

Mary-Kate is Ashley’s parter in crime – and by crime, I mean fashion design – but as far as CFDA love, there’s been no mention of her. Clearly the fashion world has spoken when it comes to choosing its favorite twin.
