There’s no better way to embrace your feminine side than to sport spring’s blooming prints. Here are three starlets that mastered florals this week.

Best Dressed

1. Delicate and dainty, Freida Pinto attended the screening for Desert Dancer in a lavender Elie Saab dress with floral appliqués.

2. Bella Thorne opted for a bright and playful Milly crop top, which she paired with a midi-length alice + olivia skirt and contrasting black pumps.

3. Kerry Washington mixed polka dots and florals in her Giambattista Valli dress at the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors event in Los Angeles. Sideswept hair, a berry lip, and red lace pumps completed her flirty look.

It’s nearly impossible to pick just one influential cover girl, so Glamour chose three for its May 2015 issueMichelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kerry Washington. The trio came together to shine a light on the needs of current and former military women and families, a cause close to all of their hearts.

In 2011, upon hearing the struggles servicewomen had after returning home, the First Lady launched the Joining Forces initiative to provide employment resources, affordable education programs, and wellness access for active military, veterans, and their families. Its mission struck a chord with Kerry, whose father served in the military, as well as SJP, who has several friends in uniform.

To see these three women weigh in on these issues, pick up the full interview on stands April 14 (just time for Memorial Day).

While Fifty Shades of Grey is about to be trending in the box office, the silvery hue has been prominent on the red carpet for some time now. For these celebs, it proves to be the perfect mid-winter neutral.

Best Dressed

1. Felicity Jones wore a stunning embellished Valentino gown from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

2. Freida Pinto’s silvery Mason by Michelle Mason frock featured subtle sheer panels and textured stripes at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Celebrities favored the box clutch this week, pairing the chic handheld accessory with clean silhouettes (but bold details). These three looks, featuring geometric embroidery, three-dimensional folds, and leather accents, are equal parts classic and modern. And of course, they push boundaries in all the right ways.

Best-Dressed List

  1. Camilla Belle looked to Carolina Herrera‘s Spring 2015 Collection for an elegant red look at an event in Hollywood.
  2. Kerry Washington wore an origami-inspired Calvin Klein Collection dress for the 21st Annual Women in Hollywood celebration in Los Angeles. Her best outfit add-on (blue eyeliner) might not be what you’d expect, but she pulled it off with ease.
  3. Michelle Williams was head-to-toe perfection in Louis Vuitton at the opening of the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Edgier than her typical red-carpet fare, the combination of this whimsical-print dress with black platform boots is just right.

Trends like nautical accents, florals, and brights – typically associated with the warmer season – are becoming more prevalent year-round. Check out how these celebs created versatile looks that are just right for right now.

1. Chloë Grace Moretz chose asymmetric stripes in warm hues and a sailor-inspired skirt, both from Kenzo, to craft the perfect fall nautical look at AOL’s BUILD Speaker Series for her new movie, The Equalizer.

2. Reese Witherspoon wore a floral number from the Christian Dior Resort 2015 collection at the Nashville premiere of The Good Lie. To take the runway number from resort to fall, the actress wore a version with sleeves and a darker, moodier palette.

3. Kerry Washington paired a sunshine yellow Giles Deacon dress with perfect plum accessories, including the clutch she designed for the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse.

Last night, the biggest stars of television partied in Los Angeles for the Emmys. Red was definitely the color of the night, with Claire Danes, January Jones, and Christina Hendricks all choosing the striking shade.

On stage, there were hilarious presenters (check out Jimmy Kimmel’s roasting of Matthew McConaughey here), a surprising kiss between Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston, and a Breaking Bad sweep. But the real winners of the night were on the red carpet. See who made my top-five list below.
