Fascinating things are happening at M·A·C. Literally. The brand just launched a beauty collaboration with none other than milliner Philip Treacy. You may know him as the man behind Kate Middleton’s fancy toppers. So when I say that campaign is eye-catching, it should come as no surprise.

Prince William, Princess Kate, and Prince Harry have finally joined the (Twitter) party. The trio’s handle, @KensingtonRoyal, has accumulated tens of thousands of followers in just one day of existence. And as if that weren’t enough? The family shocked the world again, signing up for Instagram.

What do the nobles plan to share? Their collective bio reads: “Updates, pictures, and videos from Kensington Palace about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, and their Royal Foundation.”

Of course, we’re hoping there’s a #selfie up someone’s sleeve.

Kate and William’s impeccably put-together outfits. Little George’s beyond-adorable fashion choices. How could we be anything but obsessed? In honor of this soon-to-grow royal family, we’ve recreated each regal look with just one item.

Get the Royal Family's Style

For Prince William’s Look
You’ll rarely see Wills without a perfectly pressed button-front shirt. To dress one down, roll the sleeves up past your forearms and pair it with chinos or jeans. For a more formal look, opt for a navy suit-and-tie combo.

For Kate Middleton’s Look
The Duchess is known for her polished and practical fashion sense. And the one staple that ties it all together? Nude patent pumps. Grab a pair that complements your skin tone, then wear them with everything from dresses to jeans.

For Prince George’s Look
Although everything he wears is automatically aww-worthy, shortalls are Kate’s go-to for this little prince. Reach for a classic pinstriped or navy pair, then let those pinchable cheeks do the rest.

Now call the photographer. These outfits are royal-portrait material. Our Make It Your Own: The Duchess’ Style, Leading Man: Get Prince William’s Regal Look, and Royally Cute Style: Get Prince George’s Look Boutiques opened Friday, January 9, at 11AM ET.

While making the rounds in NYC last week, Kate Middleton appeared polished per usual. But last night in East London she was spotted looking, well, almost like one of us. The ground-breaking garment she wore? A sweatshirt.

En route to work with a group of Beaver Scouts, the Duchess wore a black zip-up hoodie, J Brand jeans, and tall black boots. She still looked every bit the beauty queen, even without the couture threads we’re used to seeing.

A princess getting cozy in loungewear? That’s a trend every commoner can get behind.

Confirmed: Prince George is a soon-to-be big brother. Yesterday, The Clarence House announced via Twitter that Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their second child. Amid worldwide squeals of excitement, however, there’s a bit of sad news. The full press release states that, as with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum (a condition that causes extreme nausea).

Here’s hoping you feel better soon, Kate. We can’t wait to meet Chubby Cheeks Round Two.

Allegedly, Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas have called it quits afters two years of dating. Which means – rejoice – you still stand a chance, right? (You’ve always looked so good in those little royal hats.)

The news came on the day of Prince William and Duchess Kate’s three-year anniversary. Take that as a sign and start practicing your pick-up lines now.

Between her amazingly good-looking family (little George included) and her enviable sense of style, it’s no wonder everyone wants to be just like Kate Middleton. So much so, in fact, that the outfits she’s worn while on tour Down Under have been selling out like wildfire. First up? Her Tory Burch dress during a New Zealand playdate. Then there was the flawless Erdem coat while visiting a children’s hospice. And most recently? The ultra-chic navy and white Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress she wore to tour Australia’s Blue Mountains on Thursday.

It’s no secret that the Duchess of Cambridge has some serious style. But her put-together polish isn’t just reserved for royals. Here, our fashion director shows us how to recreate Kate Middleton’s refined look in three easy steps.

LK-blog2

  1. Start with a fitted sheath in a neutral or pastel hue.
  2. Keep accessories minimal. A simple box clutch and diamond studs will do the trick.
  3. Step into a pair of nude patent heels to tie everything together (the Duchess swears by them).

Okay, so we all know that using Facebook and Twitter while on the job can be a major no-no. But rumor has it that Kate Middleton’s hair stylist, James Pryce (the guy who gussied her up for the Royal Wedding and her big North American tour) learned this the hard way. Pryce apparently has been booted from Middleton’s beauty squad after using images of the Duchess to promote himself online. Needless to say, the Palace was not pleased.

Pryce, you’re welcome to do my hair and post on FB, though. Just saying.
