Here are Rue, we’re die-hard glossy aficionados – firm believers that there’s no better way to ease the transition into fall than a thick September issue.

So you can bet we were thrilled to hear that we’re pairing up with luxury charity auction site Charitybuzz – which has raised more than $65 million for nonprofits worldwide by auctioning exclusive access to the world’s biggest celebs and brands – to offer a behind-the-scenes look at a style standby, People StyleWatch.

Included? The chance to spend half a day shadowing (and lunching with) Editor Susan Kaufman at People‘s Rockefeller Center office, perusing the closet full of designer clothes and accessories, and seeing how the magazine comes together on a day-to-day level.

Bonus: thanks to Charitybuzz, the net proceeds from this experience benefit Reach Out and Read, a children’s charity which partners with doctors to prescribe age-appropriate children’s books and encourage families to read together.
