Newsflash: Karl Lagerfeld Will Print His Own Paper

Karl Lagerfeld just might be the greatest fashion personality of today. If his fitting room selfie and namesake hotel didn’t convince you, his very own special edition newspaper, The Karl Daily, will.

Intended to be a cheeky look into the fashion industry, the publication debuts September 20 in seven European Karl Lagerfeld stores. It will feature interviews with the designer and, of course, a few guest editor appearances from Karl’s own cat (and Internet legend) Choupette.

Readers will find the usual newspaper sections – think horoscopes, sports news, and weather updates – in addition to Karl’s personal observations and previews from his upcoming collections.

I can’t think of any other papers with a feline on the masthead, so I’m hoping Choupette might share some beauty (or rather, grooming) tips.

See: The official Ralph Lauren Team USA uniform for the 2014 winter games. You’ll want to score some of this before Sochi.

Know: Blake Lively’s been named the new face of L’Oréal Paris. XOXO, cover girl.

From couture diapers to NYFW real estate, here’s what we’re buzzing about this week

BLG-1623 Chitter Chatter 7.29

Check Out: The latest baby must-have. Okay, so these aren’t actually real diapers (trivial detail), but it’s what we like to imagine Prince George is currently rocking.

Know: New York Fashion Week just can’t seem to stay put. After only two years at Lincoln Center, it’s rumored the weeklong event will be moving, yet again, to Hudson Yards. Remember the good old days in Bryant Park?

See: How far fashion devotion can go in the new “Mode Als Religion” (“Fashion as Religion”) documentary. One big follower who also makes a guest appearance? Karl Lagerfeld.

Watch: Lady Gaga make her triumphant return to the stage at this year’s VMAs. We know our DVR is already set.

From P. Diddy's TV channel to Comic-Con, here's what we're buzzing about this week

Chitter Chatter

Check Out: The scene to be seen this week – San Diego Comic-Con 2013, in all its geek-chic glory.

Admire: The hottest shoes from Paris Fashion Week’s Haute Couture runway shows. We’d like to walk a mile (or ten) in some of these stilettos.

Know: Gwyneth Paltrow teamed up with Cynthia Rowley to release a limited edition “beach-to-street” collection. Nothing like ready-to-wear rash guards on Rodeo Drive.

Watch: P. Diddy’s new TV channel, launching this December. It’s set to stream music videos like the MTV of our heyday. (Does this mean we call him “Puff Daddy” again?)

From water tower nightclubs to Bachelorette raps, here's what we're buzzing about this week

Chitter Chatter Large

Watch: “Goat Lucky” – the most addictively random twist on Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” yet.

Plot: Your fantasy draft for The Bachelorette. Des rapping with Soulja Boy should get you more than amped for tonight’s premiere.

Rethink: Your idea of exclusive. This nightclub popped up inside a water tower. The only way in? Up a ladder and through a trap door.

Pick Up: This Ferragamo comic book. Shoes have never been so fun. (Okay, we lie.)

From runway jams to the FLOTUS’ style evolution, here’s what we’re buzzing about this week

BLG-1292 Chitter Chatter 2-25

Watch: Supermodel Coco Rocha bust a move for Longchamp’s SS13 campaign video. And we thought her runway strut was impressive.

Check Out: The First Lady’s style evolution. While a lot has changed (from her bangs to her brows), we think she looks perfectly presidential in both.

Hear: The top ten tracks at London Fashion Week. With these jams on our iPods, the sidewalk is our catwalk (or so we like to think).

Own: A piece of fashion history. Ten of Princess Diana’s most iconic dresses will be up for grabs at the Kerry Taylor auction house on March 19. Just be prepared to shell out some serious dough.

The ReTweet: 5 Style Bytes You May Have Missed

@manrepeller: My feet look like evil dictators.
Initial thoughts: spikes, boots, and mustaches.

@alice_olivia: Most people should come with a warning label.
I.e., please don’t speak to us until we’ve had at least three coffees.

@natalieoffduty: My new dentist is so cutes
Where can we find one of those?

@lizschneider_ I am pretty sure today is meant to be consumed by movies, blankets, and coffee.
Proof that heaven exists.

@SaucyGlossie: I have a pretty massive addiction to House Hunters International.. this must mean something #wanderlust #again
But if we hear the prospective buyers say “These rooms are really small…” one more time, we’re done. #notintheUSanymore
