A 60s revival is in full force – and style stars like Emma Stone are sporting looks that nod to the era. Take a cue from these trendsetters by incorporating one piece with a touch of retro flair into your outfit. Think an embellished mini shift, bold stripes, or patent leather Mary Janes.

Most Coveted 60s Inspired Style

  1. Valentino Navy & Red Stripe Double-Breasted Coat. A graphic coat with a high collar adds a touch of vintage-inspired style to your everyday skinnies.
  2. Sparkling Sage Trio Stud Earrings. Pair these standout studs with everything from a T-shirt to your LBD.
  3. Cynthia Rowley Red Geo Appliqué Shift Dress. This embellished shift in the color of the season is a dreamy choice for holiday parties.
  4. Prada Women’s 28PS Sunglasses. Chic cat-eye frames with fun floral detailing will earn you serious street cred.
  5. Saint Laurent “Babies 40″ Patent Glitter Mary Jane Pump. Hedi Slimane showed this shimmery Mary Jane style on the runway. Now, introduce it to your wardrobe.

These celebs are proof you don’t need over-the-top colors or prints to make a statement. Sometimes all it takes is a touch of whimsy on a classic ensemble to craft a winning look.

A few weeks ago, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield took their power-couple awesomeness to the next level by warding off paparazzi not with hoods and fingers, but with signs that listed their favorite charities. And now, it seems they’ve started a trend. Over the long weekend, Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman stepped out in New York City with similar cardboard cutouts.

This year, the Met Gala dress code called for sweeping ball gowns and full “white tie” attire. And while many stars missed the mark, a select few hit home runs.

Some celebs never seem to get it wrong (Emma Stone, I’m looking at you). And while I could dedicate this week’s list to her press-tour looks from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – and trust me, I thought about it – let’s also take a peek at two other favorites.

  2. Zoe Saldana in Roksanda Ilincic at the 2014 AOL NewFronts event

If you haven’t watched Emma Stone out–lip sync Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s The Tonight Show, you’re missing out. The redheaded actress went mic-to-mic with Fallon, lip-syncing to Blues Traveler’s “Hook,” followed by DJ Khaled’s 2010 hit “All I Do Is Win,” proving to be the TV host’s biggest competitor to date. Although Jimmy put on quite the performance with his interpretation of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and Styx’s hit “Mr. Roboto,” he was no match for Emma’s impressive rap–lip syncing skills.

Don’t believe me? Do yourself a favor and press play (or, ahem, replay). Your Friday morning? It just got insanely more awesome. You’re welcome.
