‘Tis the season for party dresses, and now that everything – from the dress down to the very last jewel – is perfectly in place, it’s time to talk details.

Whether you’re hitting the party circuit in a body-skimming number or a frilly cocktail dress, a pair of seam-free and oh-so-comfy low-rise thongs or briefs (in a slew of cheeky patterns, prints, and solids) is necessary for eliminating unsightly lines. Need some assistance in the underpinning department? Here are three tips to live by:

1. If your dress is tight-fitting, pair it with commando’s signature low-rise thong for a barely there finish.
2. When in doubt, choose nude intimates – no flash-photography mishaps here.
3. Buy multiples. These are going to be your new go-to undergarments (trust us). And thankfully, they come in packs of three or more.

Our commando® Boutique opens Thursday, December 13, at 11AM ET.

I felt that the industry was ready for a fresh approach – innovation and high quality product with a sense of humor. The result is our commando signature low-rise thong.

Rue La La: Tell us about the evolution of your raved-about line.
Kerry: The line has grown since we launched in 2005 to include slips with a patented weighted hem, a raw-cut cotton collection, and our new dig-free luxury legwear.
