2014 was undeniably the year of the selfie. And Lady Gaga? Well, her Instagram followers can confirm that she embraced the trend fully. To up her game in 2015, the pop diva is taking self-portraits to the next level with a full-on ad campaign for Japanese beauty brand Shiseido.

WWD reports that 50 of Gaga’s latest shots will appear exclusively in Japanese newspapers early next month. Why January? Turns out it’s the height of Japan’s shopping season.

  3. The inspiration for their line? Parisian women like Françoise Hardy and Jeanne Moreau.
  4. Every blouse is named for a French New Wave style icon, each with a European sensibility and easy elegance they both admire.
