A walk-in closet? These days, it’s only a figment of my imagination. But Theresa Roemer, a former beauty queen in Houston, has hit the jackpot — her fabulous wardrobe calls this 3,000-square-foot closet home. Affectionately nicknamed the “she-cave,” the three-story space is as tidy as it is impressive. How ever does she keep those Birkins, Louboutins, and H-clad belts so orderly? Theresa shared her organizing secrets with FabSugar, and whether your storage is minimal or endless, we think these three tips are worth trying.

Since these kids have better wardrobes than us, it’s totally acceptable to be jealous of them. Right?

1. Rachel Zoe styles practically everyone in Hollywood. So it’s hardly surprising that her son Skyler always looks so dapper.

2. You might not see Alia Wang in the tabloids as often as the Jolie-Pitts, but when she shows up, she owns it in street wear.

3. Tabitha and Marion Broderick are double-trouble. Not only do they look alike, they dress (adorably) alike, too.

4. When Kingston Rossdale dyed his mohawk blue at age 6, he pretty much cemented himself as a pint-sized trendsetter.

5. Let’s be real. No list of fashionable kids would be complete without the queen herself, Ms. Suri Cruise.

How to Wear Emerald

Jewel-tone hues are making a comeback – in a big way. Pantone, the leading authority on color trends, has ruled emerald as the color of the year for 2013, and we can’t wait to start incorporating it into our closets. Here’s how:

Start small. Try mixing the color into your accessories first. A pair of teardrop earrings, a statement necklace, or an eye-catching bracelet (like the one above) boasting the shade will automatically boost your day-to-day wardrobe.

Contrast. Pair this tone with different textures (think wool and silk or chiffon and leather) and other complementary shades, like navy, for a look that makes a statement – but not too loudly.

Make it your basic. Opt for this rich color instead of reaching for your go-to white V-neck the next time you feel like dressing down.

Dress it up. Say goodbye to your favorite LBD and show up to your next cocktail party draped in this lush tone.

Switch up your shoes. Now would be the perfect time to swap your standard black pumps for a pair of emerald suede heels (sky-high encouraged).

Clutch it. Nothing inserts a pop of color into an outfit like a unique bag. A metallic leather clutch in this rich shade will add an unexpected touch to an otherwise toned-down blazer-and-heels ensemble.
