There’s no denying mini bags are having a moment. Luxe labels – from Balenciaga to Givenchy – are shrinking down their most coveted designs with celebrity-approved results. Take a cue from these three starlets on how to style the silhouette.

Getting rewarded for wearing designer threads on the red carpet sounds pretty fabulous, right? Well, your favorite celeb might be doing just that. Vulture Festival’s Hollywood Power Stylist Panel had the inside scoop.

According to stylist Jessica Paster, whose clients include Emily Blunt and Eva Longoria, the financial deals between luxury brands and celebrities are “ambassadorships” and often lead to full-on ad campaigns. So when it comes to money, these luxury brands aren’t playing around.

In Jessica’s experience, stylists can receive anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 for these deals and actresses are offered figures ranging anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000. However, she argued money isn’t always the driving factor, saying, “If it looks awful on you, $100,000 or $250,000 is not worth it, but if it looks gorgeous on you and this was the dress we were going to pick anyway, why not get paid?”

Guess it just goes to show you can never underestimate the power of a great dress – or paycheck.

Hollywood’s finest spent the past couple weeks in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival. And in between film screenings and soaking up sun, starlets predictably wowed on the red carpets. Here are the five stunners that caught my attention.

Cate Blanchett made a striking entrance in an over-the-top ruffled Giles Deacon ball gown. With a print inspired by a fax machine, the dress boasted a voluminous skirt and layers of ruffles, taking five days and 15 meters of silk to construct.

There’s no better way to embrace your feminine side than to sport spring’s blooming prints. Here are three starlets that mastered florals this week.

Best Dressed

1. Delicate and dainty, Freida Pinto attended the screening for Desert Dancer in a lavender Elie Saab dress with floral appliqués.

2. Bella Thorne opted for a bright and playful Milly crop top, which she paired with a midi-length alice + olivia skirt and contrasting black pumps.

3. Kerry Washington mixed polka dots and florals in her Giambattista Valli dress at the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors event in Los Angeles. Sideswept hair, a berry lip, and red lace pumps completed her flirty look.

Orange has become the color of the moment, perhaps due to the heavy 70s influence this season. It’s popped up both on and off the runways for spring – and these three starlets worked the hue with ease.

Best Dressed

1. Effortlessly cool, Dree Hemingway paired an earthy orange clutch with her high-waisted Chloé trousers for an undone nautical vibe.

2. Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel showed off a winning color combo with a bright, figure-flattering midi skirt and an athletic-cut, light blue top, both from Mugler. The metallic accents and fresh makeup finished off her modern look.

3. Orange floral embroidery stole the show on January Jones’s navy Preen dress. The Mad Men actress tied the ensemble together from tip to toe, debuting a fiery new hair color for the occasion.

Is life in plastic actually fantastic? Anna Dello Russo seems to think so. Her latest Vogue Japan spread pays homage to Barbie, with a spot-on impersonation from model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

With Rosie dressed in signature pink and stiffly posed, the Anna Dello Russo–styled shoot nails Barbie’s iconic look. Rosie even has the vacant stare and frozen smile down pat – which is pretty comical, if not slightly unsettling. And in case you were wondering, yes, Ken makes an appearance too.

Now, this isn’t the only recent high-fashion venture from the doll. The Moschino Spring 2015 collection brought the look to life, with several pieces showcased in this shoot. I’d sure like to add one of those cheeky purses to my Barbie collection.

Sia’s bleach-blonde wig is generally more recognizable than her face. But recently, the very private “Chandelier” songstress ditched her usual garb and smiled for the cameras.

Now, this reveal is a big deal. While other celebs post selfies and clamor for screen time, Sia has publicly declared her desire to avoid fame. Instead, the singer frequently performs with her back to the audience and hides her face during interviews.

We totally respect her wishes for anonymity. But if ditching the wig means more topknot buns like the one she flaunted publicly, we’re all for it.

Playdates at the park are as grand as most toddler social calendars get. But when you’re North West and you have a front-row seat at Paris Fashion Week, you must dress the part. And no – overalls from the big-box stores won’t cut it.

Following little Nori’s string of appearances in Givenchy and Chanel, it’s rumored that she had professional help in putting together those petite designer getups. So whether or not this mini Kim Kardashian has a supposed tailor-slash-stylist, there’s no denying she might be the most haute 16-month-old on the planet.

It’s safe to say Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way. In terms of fashion, that is. From an awkward alien teen in 3rd Rock from the Sun to a young head-over-heels-in-love professional in 500 Days of Summer to a suave agent in Inception, he’s dipped his toes in a variety of roles and styles. And emerged as the guy to watch.

BLG-XXXX-JGL

To snag one of his signature looks, try these simple steps:

1. Ditch the classics for this one. Grab a pair of slim leg pants in grey or black (treat it like a neutral) or dark straight-leg denim (a JGL staple).

2. Pair with a plaid shirt. Give it a tuck all around for a polished look. Then, unbutton the top two buttons and haphazardly cuff the sleeves. No undershirt.

3. Add a black leather belt and corresponding stainless steel watch. Casual cool? Mastered.

Now practice Joseph’s charming grin and you’re good to go.

Is there anything more torturous than the days leading up to a three-day holiday weekend? So close, yet so far away. To pass the time, this writer finds herself browsing celebrity rags in an attempt to ignite some sort of inspirational flame within. Nope, nothing. That is, until an article from Lucky magazine touting “50 of the Chicest Celebrity Airport Outfits Ever” pops up. Since most of the country will be participating in some form of travel this weekend, why not casually try one of the celeb-approved ensembles along the way?

Travel in Style, Like A Celeb

They make it look so easy. Boyfriend jeans? Check. Fedora and pointy-toe flats? Check. “If celebrities are good at one thing, it’s being able to emerge off their first-class flight looking largely flawless, with nary a hair out of place nor a speck of oil clogging their pores,” writes Maura Brannigan. “Whether clad in a tracksuit or stilettos, this crop of celebrities has the whole airport-style thing down to a science.”

That they do. So I guess I’ll be leaving my favorite (read: tattered) yoga pants at home this trip.
