Details, Details: How Brooks Brothers Goes the Extra Mile

Brooks Brothers gets the big picture when it comes to men’s clothes. Suits are on point. Dress shirts are just right. But it’s the seemingly small details that really set the brand apart. Take a look at a few.

Brooks Brothers

The Sleeves: Every dress shirt has 6-Pleat shirring to add some interest at the cuff.

The Buttons: Cross-stitching makes them super-durable – they won’t break or pop off.

The Fabric: In rare Supima cotton, button-fronts won’t shrink, stretch, or lose color.

Check out the superior details and construction up close. Shop our Brooks Brothers Boutique, which opened Wednesday, September 24, at 11AM ET.

Not Just for Work: Tips to Style the Button-Front on Weekends

Yes, we all know the classic Brooks Brothers button-front is the first thing a man reaches for when he gets dressed for work in the morning. Because it’s a shirt that knows how to work hard. But it can play hard, too. So why not take it out for a spin come the weekend? Here are three ways to do it.

Brooks Brothers Weekend Style

1. Leave the top two buttons undone and throw on a sport coat for a date. Finish the look with dark jeans or classic chinos and loafers in leather or suede.

2. Roll the sleeves and try it with colored chinos to barhop with the guys. Give the chinos a couple of rolls if they have a narrow-leg cut and slide into boat shoes, sans socks.

3. Shrug it on (completely unbuttoned) over a tee and swim trunks at the beach. Once that ab workout you’ve been doing starts to pay off, go ahead and skip the tee.

It’s time to up your shirt game. Our Brooks Brothers Boutique opened Monday, June 23, at 11AM ET.
