The looks we’ve been obsessing over? Africa-inspired graphics bursting with color and muted, wear-with-everything animal prints. Rock either with simple basics – or if you’re feeling daring, mix the two in one look.

African-Inspired Prints

Bold & Geometric
When it comes to eye-catching patterns, the bigger the better. Pick from abstract or floral designs in a medley of saturated hues. Only want a pop of color? Include a single focal point in the form of an A-line skirt or a button-front blouse.

Neutral & Chic
Sure, animal print is always in style. But this time around it pairs best with natural, soft color palettes and safari-inspired detailing. Think: subtle cheetah mixed with a khaki cargo-pocket skirt.

Find your next statement piece in our Passport to Africa: Bold Printed Style Boutique, which opens on Monday, June 8, at 3PM ET.

These leading ladies may not have scored any awards at Broadway’s biggest night, but they certainly earned a style nomination in our books. Let us give you a quick red-carpet rundown.

Best Dressed Tony Awards
Anne Hathaway
has ruled the red carpet in Oscar de la Renta more times than we can count. Our top pick? This classic LBD from 2009. Her feather-print sheer skirt added just the right amount of playfulness.

Best Dressed Tony Awards
Lea Michele
is no stranger to mixing sultry with sweet, and this look from 2010 proved it. Her strapless goldenrod gown put her tiny frame on display, while her pink lips added a touch of ladylike perfection.

Best Dressed Tony Awards
Emmy Rossum
was the essence of glamour (and drama) last year in Ralph Lauren. Between her dark flowing locks, sparkling chandelier earrings, and champagne dress, we couldn’t decide what we liked best.

It’s your turn to dress the part. Our Broadway’s Biggest Night: Awards-Inspired Style Boutique opens Sunday, June 7, at 11AM ET.

Most of us have come to terms with the fact that we’ll never have Carrie Bradshaw’s closet. But if you’re on the lookout for the perfect pair of wedding shoes, Sarah Jessica Parker has you covered.

SJP Wedding-Shoe LineImage via Martha Stewart Weddings

The actress recently expanded her SJP collection to include wedding shoes, and they certainly live up to what you’d expect from the style icon. Bright hues? Check. Sparkling embellishments? Got ’em. There’s even a pair that looks exactly like the cobalt Manolos from Carrie’s wedding. (Coincidence? We think not.)

SJP told Martha Stewart Weddings, “At a wedding, people might strive for a more formal feeling, but a lot of the rules can be broken today.” So don’t expect total tradition from this line. It’s all about standout options and finding a pair fits your personality – and feet.

Getting rewarded for wearing designer threads on the red carpet sounds pretty fabulous, right? Well, your favorite celeb might be doing just that. Vulture Festival’s Hollywood Power Stylist Panel had the inside scoop.

According to stylist Jessica Paster, whose clients include Emily Blunt and Eva Longoria, the financial deals between luxury brands and celebrities are “ambassadorships” and often lead to full-on ad campaigns. So when it comes to money, these luxury brands aren’t playing around.

In Jessica’s experience, stylists can receive anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 for these deals and actresses are offered figures ranging anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000. However, she argued money isn’t always the driving factor, saying, “If it looks awful on you, $100,000 or $250,000 is not worth it, but if it looks gorgeous on you and this was the dress we were going to pick anyway, why not get paid?”

Guess it just goes to show you can never underestimate the power of a great dress – or paycheck.

When you’re always on the move, accidents are bound to happen – hello, snapped stiletto. To keep inevitable annoyances from ruining your day, take a cue from the cast of the movie Spy and ensure your personal toolkit is always stocked with daily essentials. Always in our arsenal? Shoe Goo.

How to Fix a Broken Heel

Step 1: Be sure the area you’re repairing is clean and dry, then apply a shoe adhesive (ahem, Shoe Goo) to both the heel and the sole.

Step 2: Allow the solvents in the glue to evaporate until it’s puttylike (about 5 to 10 minutes), then press both pieces back together in their proper positions.

Step 3: Keep pressure on the heel and the shoe with a rubber band for anywhere between 1 and 24 hours. The longer the glue cures, the stronger the bond.

Step 4: Remove the elastic and strut on with confidence.

Don’t give us that look – this is not your mother’s swimsuit. With plunging necklines, cut-outs, and very high hemlines, this traditional style is making a big comeback with majorly modern updates. For gals who’d like a little coverage from the blazing sun while still looking red-hot, this is your new go-to.

Want to keep your PANDORA pieces looking brand new? We have a few expert care tips to help get you close. So grab your charms and get ready to watch them shine.

How to Care for PANDORA Charms

Charm Cleaning 101
First, grab a dish of lukewarm water and add a small amount of baby shampoo. Then dip a soft toothbrush into the solution and scrub each charm in circular motions to nix any dirt. For those times when your piece needs a heavy-duty cleaning, soak it in clean water first.

Pack It In
Keeping your PANDORA in tip-top shape starts with how you store it. A velvet or felt-lined box is best for every-day organization, but a budget-friendly plastic ziplock bag (made of Mylar or polyethylene only, no polyvinyl allowed) will also do the trick. Travel often? Grab a jewelry roll to keep your pieces shiny and mark-free. Just remember, no rubber containers – they’ll tarnish silver quickly – and keep your accessories out of the bathroom.

That Extra TLC
We all know that over time our gold and silver essentials look a bit worn. PANDORA (and Rue) recommends having them inspected at least once a year by a goldsmith. They can double-check clasps, mounts, and soldering, as well as any deep cosmetic wear.

Moral of the story: a little love now can make your jewelry last long enough to be passed down. Now you just have to worry about playing favorites with the lucky recipients of these coveted pieces. Want to find your next heirloom? Shop our PANDORA Boutique, now open.

When it comes to redefining the face of his brand, there’s no stopping Marc Jacobs. Last season he handpicked a pack of unknowns, the year before he called upon Miley Cyrus. But this time around, even we were surprised by his selection. Marc announced today via Instagram that Cher (yes, that Cher) will be the face of his Fall/Winter 2015 campaign.

cher_blog

Of course there’s no denying the recent uptick in icon casting by fashion labels (Joan Didion for CÉLINE, Madonna for Versace, etc.), but this match-up takes the cake. Not only does it showcase an iconic new line, but also taps into one of the Marc’s earliest inspirations.“Other boys were out fascinated by other things. I was like, ‘No, I’d really much rather see what Cher’s wearing this week,” he says.

Cher may croon about turning back time, but if this ad is any indication, we don’t think she needs to.
