Hey, Guys: Coach’s New Collaboration Is Just for You (Sort Of)

Coach has long claimed legions of lady fans who love everything from its signature “C”-print bags to its colorful leather loafers. But, guys, hold on before you yawn and turn away. The company has unveiled a new collaboration that was conceived with you in mind.

Coach Collaboration

                                                                                                         Image via out.com

In its new partnership with Philip Crangi – the New York City jewelry designer behind Giles & Brother and a poster boy of cool – Coach has rolled out a limited-edition collection of “rugged jewelry and accessories.” The belts, braided toggle bracelets, and slim key fobs all bear a combination of Coach’s smooth, iconic leather and Crangi’s trademark hardware. The result? A just-right marriage of grit and polish. There’s only one caveat: We can’t guarantee that, if left unattended, your girlfriends, wives, and sisters won’t snatch these pieces up to add a touch of tomboy chic to their own ensembles.

Cheerio, New York: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Moves to London

It’s official: The 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be held across the pond. At an early-morning press conference inside the brand’s London flagship store, CMO Ed Razek (alongside veteran Angels Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel) revealed his plans for the runway’s relocation.

According to Razek, the brand wanted to move the show from New York to London back in 1998 (when it first landed overseas), but “it just kind of all came together this year.”

My guess is that the show – slated for December 2 – will be packed with British celebs. In fact, it’s rumored that Cara Delevingne has already saved the date. (And I, for one, can’t wait.)

Check out ELLE for more on the VS press conference.

Which The Other Woman Character Are You?

The lawyer. The wife. The girl next door. In The Other Woman, Fox’s upcoming comedy, each character has a personality (and style) all her own. Which one are you most like? Follow our flowchart below to find out.

theotherwoman_flowchart[1]

Carly, Played by Cameron Diaz
You’re a sophisticated siren and the true definition of a modern businesswoman. In the office, you’re known for your collection of sharp suits the watercooler crowd can’t stop talking about. But when five o’clock hits, your friends can spot you in a LBD at the nearby cocktail lounge.

Amber, Played by Kate Upton
An all-American girl through and through, you have a sandal-and-denim collection that would make every Cali girl jealous. When headed out with your friends, you’re not afraid to throw on a deep V-neck – your carefree spirit exudes confidence no matter what you wear.

Kate, Played by Leslie Mann
Classic and put-together, A-line dresses, ballet flats, and cigarette pants fill your closet. You wouldn’t be caught dead leaving the house without a tube of lipstick and, when going out, you never say no to a martini (or three).

How to Dress Like Mad Men (But Still Look 2014)

The final season of Mad Men premieres tonight. So let’s take a moment to wax rhapsodic about the series that’s been making waves since it first aired in July 2007. The emotional creative pitches. The smoking, the drinking, and the sex. And yes, the oh-so-dapper style of Don Draper and the whole Sterling Cooper crowd. The show may be in its final stretch, but the influence of its classic suiting? That’s not going away anytime soon. Here’s how to make that Mad Men–inspired look work for you.

How to Dress Like Don Draper

The Suit: Keep it dark. Charcoal, navy, or black if you’re going all out. Always pair with a crisp, white shirt. And add a sharply folded pocket square if you’re feeling extra dapper.

The Tie: Don’t get too trendy. Stick with classic diagonal stripes or a geometric pattern. Make the look fresh and current by picking a bold, punchy color.

The Shoes: This is where you can really put your own stamp on the ensemble. Keep your kicks classic with a twist. Leather oxfords with colored soles or laces. Derbies in high-shine patent leather.

Most importantly, remember – you can still be your own man. Pick up a hint of that Don Draper vibe, but don’t turn into a literal carbon copy.

Our Inspired by Mad Men: Dark Suits, Ties, & More Boutique opens Sunday, April 13, at 11AM ET.
