We’ve always been proud to call Boston our home. So when April rolls around, there’s no place we’d rather be than the Marathon finish line. And for three Rue staffers, it’s actually about crossing the finish line. Hear why they’re lacing up for a cause.

“Having grown up in the Boston area, I always thought running the Boston Marathon would be a great accomplishment. Being able to run for Krystle Campbell, a friend I lost to the 2013 bombings, has given it so much more meaning.”
– Lauren Fitzgerald, Rue Model with Maggie Inc.

Reebok is tapping into the sweet nostalgia of the 90s. Today, the Boston-based brand will release their latest line of inflatable sneakers.

These new running kicks, dubbed the ZPump Fusion, borrow the air-bladder design of decades past. Meaning, they mold to the shape of your foot when inflated. Pretty cool, right? If history repeats itself, this one should be a slam dunk for Reebok.

Make some room on your bookshelf because Dr. Seuss is coming back. Random House announced that on July 28, it will release a recently discovered manuscript from the beloved author-illustrator.

The book, titled What Pet Should I Get?, will feature the same cast of characters from One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Plans to publish at least two more books are also in the works. And just like that, my inner kid is so ready for a playful beach read.

All the vegan ladies, put your hands up! Clean-eating advocate Beyoncé has partnered with her personal trainer, Marco Borges, to launch a vegan food delivery service.

Beyonce's Vegan Meal Delivery Service

What’s in it for us? Gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and 100% plant-based meals for 22 days. According to the program, it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. By the next day, we’re well on our way to making those changes second nature.

Three weeks without bread or Brie? Like Bey, we better wake up flawless once those deliveries end.

The best part about committing to get fit? Grabbing new gym gear, of course. And Stella McCartney has teamed up again with adidas on a line of activewear, StellaSport, that will have you racing to hit the treadmill.

StellaSport boasts bright colors and bold patterns that blur the line between studio and street (giving us a little less to load into our gym bag). And with a January 15 launch, the collection arrives in time to start 2015 on the right foot.

If you’re also set on saving more green this year, the styles are all within the $20 – $100 range. A wear-everywhere wardrobe that won’t break the bank? Prepare to nail more than one feel-good resolution.

Seeking to upgrade your work environment from hectic to healthy in the New Year? Check out these surprisingly easy tips below and strive to make 2015 as stress-free as possible.

Canyon Ranch

  1. Start Meetings with Clear Intentions. Focus your team by setting straightforward and attainable goals. This way, you’ll step out of Conference Room B feeling like you’ve actually made progress.
  2. Create a Quiet Space. Designate a room for silent contemplation. The area will serve as a haven away from noisy cubicles (i.e., gossiping neighbors) and promote relaxation.
  3. Partake in Charity Work. Gather coworkers and give back to your community. You’ll build stronger work relationships and feel good about your high-five-worthy contribution.
  4. Practice Active Listening. A.k.a., put the cell phone down and engage in meetings. Show that you’re paying attention with nods and smiles, be open to fellow attendees input, and provide honest feedback.
  5. Showcase Positive Values. People thrive at companies where they feel appreciated. Offer meetings that help build, flesh out, and spread your company’s values.

Looking for calm outside your 9-to-5? Our Canyon Ranch® Boutique opens Monday, January 5, at 11AM ET.
