In and around Lincoln Center this week, guys were all about showing off their boots. To replicate this cold-weather, street-style trend, simply roll up your pants (that goes for jeans and chinos) to right above the tops of your shoes. The best part? Looks like we might have the next emerald on our hands. Like autumnal foliage, shades of burnt orange have been popping up on the catwalks left and right. From 3.1 Phillip Lim to Narciso Rodriguez, it seems the warm and utterly rich hue will be a top color for the fall/winter 2013 season.

If Nicole Miller’s collection at Lincoln Center is any indication, it looks like we’ll be getting more masculine next winter. Dubbing her line “Menswear With a Twist: Raiding the Boyfriend’s Closet,” Miller’s show on Friday night came packed with black-on-black formfitting tuxedos, strong boxy blazers, and a few girly touches by way of plaid tartan skirts – because it wouldn’t be Nicole Miller without a few showstopping prints, of course.
