Ever fallen for a blouse that’s just slightly too flowy for your liking? Cue the half-tuck. A little less formal than the full-tuck, this simple style trick adds instant polish and gives the illusion of longer, leaner legs. Here’s how.
- Start with your top draped naturally over your jeans.
- Then, tuck in the front about an inch, letting the sides and back hang loose.
- Gently fluff some of the tucked material out over your waistband to achieve a relaxed, effortless look.
- Not feeling quite right? Play with the angle of your tuck, either pulling fabric back into the waistband or letting more hang out. Repeat until satisfied.
Ta-da! You just gave “business in the front, party in the back” a whole new meaning.
