Stay Warm (While Keeping Your Shape): Style That Combats the Chill
True: The weather is starting to really bite, and the snowman-esque looks are officially in action. But in my book, as long as you get two things right, you can still look totally put together.
Outerwear: It’s literally all about the coat. I don’t care if your hat and gloves are tailored and trimmed to perfection. If your jacket doesn’t (slightly) cinch you at the waist, you are walking a fine line between polished It girl and abominable snow person.
Boots: Adorable and comfy, meet stylish. With a very cozy shearling lining and a couple button accents, your boots can easily pass as the most-fun part of your outfit.
Outerwear: Give your fleece a rest and opt for a more classic look, with a peacoat or military-inspired wool number. You still get to rock the cool, easygoing vibe without looking frumpy (or like a wanna-be college kid).
Boots: Guess what? Your winter shoes don’t have to resemble construction boots or Goliath-sized snow boots. Looking more like a stylish shoe, this boot keeps your fashion cred intact, while warding off brisk winds and stubborn snow.
Our Let It Snow, Let It Snow: Winter Essentials for Women, Men, & Kids Boutique Opens on Sunday, November 17, at 11AM ET.
