Cozy Up: How to Spend a Night In
Sometimes doing nothing is the best way to spend a Saturday night. Just think – a cozy evening spent by the fire (or radiator) with friends and family doing nothing but enjoying each other’s company (well, and eating). Here, a few tricks to make sure you have the best night possible.
Break out a board game.
Sure, renting a movie is a great way to spend a lazy Sunday, but you can have just as much fun turning off the tube, too. Classic board games like SCRABBLE (an all-time personal favorite) and Monopoly get the whole family interacting, and trust me, memories are sure to be made.
Indulge a little.
Wine (for the over-21 variety, of course), cheese and crackers, and chocolate (try baking brownies for a little mother-daughter bonding) are a must for nights spent in. The best part? When you’re in cozy clothes there’s no need to undo that belt buckle.
From cashmere sweaters to super-soft blankets (and a smattering of pillows), this is what a Saturday night spent by the fire is all about.
