Rue How-To: DIY Hair Pin

It’s almost the end of September, and I am clearly in denial. I am not willing to let summer go, and I find myself reaching for some color and something fresh. With a silk flower, cheap at your local craft store, and a bobby pin (you know you have a million in the most random spots), you, too, can add some pretty to your hair. And it won’t wilt!

Materials:

  • Silk flower
  • Bobby pin

Directions
1. Using wire cutters, cut the stem to be about three inches long
2. Loop a bobby pin through the stem and loop the stem up and around
3. Twist the end of the stem around the base of the flower
