Music to Our Ears: How to Rock a Concert Tee
Band tees are always great souvenirs – they’re a great way to remember an amazing concert and post rocking out, they create seriously cute (and meaningful) ensembles. And I’m not just talking about gym or sleepwear. Here, four members of our creative team styled writer Sarah’s vintage Paul McCartney tee (with this trend, the older, more beat-up, and memory-laden the tee, the better) and made it their own.

“I’ve always liked pairing dressy items with more casual duds, and this is a perfect example. The worn-in tee lends a laid-back vibe to the structured skirt, while the pumps and statement necklace take the whole look up a notch.”
Joanna B., Editor
“I hate heels, but I like to keep things feminine – and these ballets and bright, skirt-lover shorts lend that little bit of sweetness to the edgy tee and casual chambray that make this feel perfectly me.”
Sarah S., Junior Copywriter
“I’m a huge fan of jumbling patterns and colors together. This tee’s neutral enough for bright yellow jeans, but graphic enough to contrast with the scarf’s bold stripe – and hello, mix-and-match heaven.”
Melissa M., Junior Copywriter
“In my book, anything works with a pencil skirt and blazer (and always looks good). Add on some blingy jewelry and a pair of pumps, and no one at the office will guess that your tee is… well, I won’t say how old.”
