Classic shapes recast with deliciously international flair, they’re completely riveting – and will elevate any just-the-basics outfit (I know, I know – it’s just really hot out) to jet-setting heights.

It’s not necessarily a hidden gaze that sparks intrigue. Case in point: these red-hot lenses, adding an airbrushy softness to the eyes. And thanks to their frames’ cheekbone-sharpening shape, I’m getting that dose of drama (which I secretly wanted) anyway.

Pulsing with neons - and rounded into a sportier shape – the beloved aviator is having its party-rocker moment (and, cue song).

These sunnies clearly know how to summer on the Mediterranean. Perfectly oversized frames glinting with mod-style gold, they ooze Italian glamour – and have my plain beach cover-up suddenly so La Dolce Vita.
