Red, White, and Blue Must-Try Eats

If you’re anything like us, you’ve already started daydreaming about what you’re going to eat and drink on the 4th of July (not to mention what you’ll be wearing). Use these delicious ideas to inject some Patriotic style into your Independence Day bash.

Eat
To elevate your backyard barbecue, try grilled corn with cilantro lime butter and feta. This quick addition adds a burst of flavor and is super easy to pull off.

Drink
Serve your guests this berry spritzer from Martha Stewart Living Online that can be prepared with either sparkling water or wine. It’s pretty, Patriotic (just add red, white, and blue fruit skewers), and offers a fun twist to any cocktail bar.

Indulge
It doesn’t get more American than an ice cream sandwich – unless it’s covered in red, white and blue sprinkles. This easy addition only takes 20 minutes and is perfect for both kids and adults. For a more sophisticated dessert, we suggest this frozen lemonade pie from the Food Network. Lemonade, cream, strawberries and blueberries – we might just skip the burgers altogether.

Be Merry
Pick a festive uniform (this red, white and blue outfit has us speechless) and break out the sparklers in celebration. For more July 4th inspiration, check out our Fourth of July pinboard.
