Bloggers Show Us How To Wrap Like A Pro

We’re in full-blown, non-stop wrapping mode with little elf workshops popping up in nooks around the house. To mix it up a bit, we asked two of our favorite crafty bloggers to give us their ideas for out-of-the-box wrapping. They’re easy, colorful, and so fun. Try them out and let us know how they go!

Natalie Norus of mint love social club
“Instead of using traditional to & from gift tags, this gift is marked with a DIY Polaroid-inspired gift tag which shows the recipient’s photo rather than their name. This is particularly fun for big gatherings with lots of gifts since people will have to hunt for their photo to get their gift. I have used Polaroids in the past in the place of traditional placecards and everyone always has a wonderful time looking at each other’s photos and telling the stories behind each one.

“To create the tags, simply print out photos of your friends and family and adhere them to a piece of white cardstock. Another quick trick I have used on this gift wrap is to replace traditional ribbon with a skinny strip of contrasting gift wrap. This is particularly useful for all you last-minute wrappers who might have run out of ribbon!”

Elsie Larson & Emma Chapman of A Beautiful Mess
“For this gift wrap idea, all you need is kraft paper, tape, scissors, and vintage (or vintage-style) trims. We’ve been collecting vintage trims all year at our shop, but you can purchase trim at any craft or fabric store. Wrap your presents in the paper, then measure your trim so it can wrap all the way around your gift. Cut the trim and tape it on to your box. You can add rows of different colored trims for a really pretty look. Enjoy!”
