    I hate the new changes. It looks very Beyond the Rack to me, not the classy Rue La La I’ve loved. Hope it changes back!

    I completely agree!! The homepage looks so cluttered; I don’t even want to browse any of the boutiques.

    Sorry you went to the trouble to change the design of your site…HATE IT!!! Definitely looks tacky and cheapens the whole shopping experience. Also the original site was very easy to navigate with the new offerings on the right hand side…hate it!

    I’m an avid Rue shopper and agree with the other reviewers… don’t like it at all. I don’t like graphics, the navigation is way too cluttered. Shopping fast seems like a lost feature now. Not good. Will likely shop less now. Disappointing.

    I agree that the changes make the homepage look cluttered. Navigation within a boutique is worse; opening the quick view of any item causes you to go back to the top of the page once you close the view instead of returning to where you were.

    What a horrific site design. Why is the content so BIG? With far less content visible in my browser window, I have to scroll down to see all Boutiques. Please scale it down so I can see more content w/out scrolling! Oh and hire a usability expert.

    I also am an avid Rue shopper and I agree with everyone else sorry. I’m sure you went to a lot of trouble to make this new web design but the old design was much classier the site now kind of reminds me of the way is set up.

    I AGREE!!! Bad design, not user friendly, the issues with scrolling, ah! I log on to find my beloved Rue so jumbled up, it just makes me not want to come back. You made it so easy before, now it’s just too much. Happiness ungranted!

    I’m so surprised by the reaction. I really love it. The pictures in the products are so much clearer and bigger, and I found it even easier to use…everything’s in one place and you can find all the items on the one product page. It’s a lot better!

    Absolutely HATE the new site design. What were you guys thinking. I agree with the boycotting as I am having a hell of a time navigating the new site and will not be shopping here anymore. Why try to fix something that isn’t broken?

    i think the design is far less superior to the old design. It used to be simple and clear and now it seems like there are just too many more useless things that the old site didn’t have which was nice. i also dislike size of image of old boutiques.

    LOVE IT! So modern and fresh. And LOVING the new sorting options in boutiques (browsing by size = lifesaver!). Also so great that we can see the list of other items in the boutique from the shopping page!!

    PS I can see the same number of boutiques in my browser that I could in the old design… Not sure what people are whining about! Change is good, guys! :) Keep up the amazing work Rue.

    I also hate the new changes- I loved the easy and classy way that you had it before. I really did not want to even look through things, it is so cluttered- I love the way you had it- please change it back!!

    I don’t care for the new format, I find it difficult to see what is coming up next. Stick to with worked :) On the other hand, I love the 30 day free shipping!

    I don’t like the new site either. The layout is too open and the boutiques (the main draw, right?) aren’t apparent. What’s up with the empty white space under the Tumblr banner? And the Why We Love It should be more of a focus (like Gilt Taste). :(

    I LOVE, LOVE the new design! It feels modern and easy to navigate. And the new boutique features (shop by size!!!) are great. Personally, I think it is a nice upgrade.

    With all the fancy new layout it boggles the mind that you guys still don’t have the basics of common sense navigation down! Where is the “top of the page” link or arrow at the bottom? Why can’t you select more than one category in a given boutique?

  29. Agree with everyone else. Go back to the old look. Navigation is cumbersome, website is cluttered. Some pages continually get an “Oops” response when returning to the boutique. Old and new is meshed together. Really is a mess.

    Are you missing the “Already a member, sign in” on the upper right hand corner. I thought the same thing until I spotted the tiny little notice in right upper corner.

    I don’t mind the Boutique changes in themselves, I hate the stupid $9.95 per month shipping change. Now I buy absolutely nothing from the site. I don’t purchase but occasionally and adding an additional $10 bucks to an item makes it unreasonable.

    I’m not too crazy about the new website,it looked classier before. One thing in particular that bugs me–when I click on an item and then close the quick look, it takes me back to the top of the sale, not back to where I was on the page. Frustrating!

    I’m surprised about how sloppy the details are. I was looking at a dress the sizing guide, while referencing the manufacturers name, had no relationship to the dress. Show handbags on mannequins to demonstrate the size.

    Even knowing that change is hard, especially for us long time Rue addicts,the web site change is not a good one. It’s off-putting and not so fun. The shipping and ‘still want it’ are awesome. Web site is too much like Gilt in white. Please reconsider

    I am disappointed with the new design, though I do want to say thank you Rue La La for always keeping your customers’ best intentions at heart. Perhaps try and merge the modern accents of this new design with the sleek accessibility of the old one.

    HATE IT! Very cluttered, I can’t even be bothered to look around anymore, gives me a headache. Did you use the One Kings Lane people? Looks like you did and I hate their site too!

    What happened to Still I Want It? One positive, love The Rue 30!

    I like the new photos within the boutiques – they are larger and clearer. But I don’t like the homepage, it is a little too cluttered. I still love Rue La La though!!!

    I for one think it looks great. It’s going to take some time for everyone to get used to a new look but we all will and we will love it as much as the old layout— probably more! I’m sure lots of people worked hard to make it happen!

    I don’t like all the changes – I’m a big fan of Ruelala and for good reason. But this makes it appear like you’re just trying to copy the format of some other sites. I don’t like the font choice in particular, doesn’t look as classy as the old style

    I do not like the new layout at all. It feels so un-Rue. The previous layout was distinct to Rue. Updates are great but this does not enhance my experience. Makes it feel like any random shopping site. Your signature style is what had my attention!

    Hate the new layout. I loved the old one-so easy to navigate. I see how you are trying to copy Gilt and you sooo didn’t need to. You are different than gilt. Strongly dislike.

    Not a fan of the new layout, sorry. Good attempt, but I loved the old site and always thought Gilt could do better, now sad to say it feels like Gilt’s is superior. You should have done what Google does and asked for feedback on any new design first.

    Oh oh my. The login page looks new. Is it my screen or is that a red stripe at the top? Where is the certain “European” flair that Rue La La had? Booo! Going for a more gender neutral,newspaper look? Meh. +’s:sort by size/color,rue30. -‘s:shop layout

    Hate the new home page! I loved the previous design. The new design reminds me of Gilt of Ideeli which I’ve never been drawn to and have never spent a single dime at because I was absolutely happy with Rue. Change it back!!!!

    I already posted how I HATE the new format. When Sunday night came, I kept refreshing and wondered why the Styleathon was taking so long, little did I know it was hidden on the right side and unseen. Sometimes change isn’t always a good thing!

    I HATE the changes. You should do some testing with actual users before changing your format. The site was so beautiful, clear and easy to use before. The red stripe on the entry page detracts from the beautiful ‘Rue La la’ picture.
